Oh I'm so glad you mentioned this. Yes, I thought the Britannica version was done exceptionally well. The Vincent Price adaption is just a hoot. Does your library feature displays for authors based on birth dates? Sometimes I think it's the only way to remember and honor the authors in our history.
No, Paula, at the BC library, we've never done much with displays. That's not a bad idea to think about, though; thanks for suggesting it!



Re film versions, I've seen the Encyclopedia Britannica version (we have it here at the Bluefield College library). I can recommend it; I'd say it adapts the original as well as it can be in the dramatic form.
