I put my first novel on Amazon Kindle over the weekend its called Treacle Mountain and did two free days promotion. Did not realise it was labor day in the US over the weekend,so that probably did not help downloads. But hopefully the peeps who did download it will gradually filter through to a review or two.:) I hope anyway!

Its been a brilliant experience, I so enjoyed writing this book as I got really immersed into the main character. Even though I am male, I think a lot of her traits are how I think and feel. People always say I am in touch with my feminine side - whatever that really means, I don't know but I enjoyed writing it from a female perspective. Have already started on book two which follows on (on 4th chapter now).

Its funny I tend to like listening to music while writing and have found Romanian euro dance stuff (which I probably don't normally listen to) to be the music I feel most at home with while writing.

I also enjoyed making the cover. I looked around at all the premades on various sites. Although a lot of them were fantastic they just didn't look how I wanted.So I thought it better to make my own, which was a good learning experience as I am not that good with photoshop. It also means when I come to do the next books cover they will be a similar style.
