So I went to Baltimore Comic Con and I had tons of fun! Some tips on selling:

1. Make sure your elevator speech is not too long and it is down pat.

2. Give them the book to hold.

3. Offer something no one else will. For instance, on the second day I did my spiel and added: “And if you buy this book I will not only sign it but do a happy dance!” Which I actually did and you will only see me do it IF you buy one of my books. lol. The tables next to me loved it has well and it was a great way to make friends.

4. If your selling with a partner at your table don’t be a hoarder! There is enough customers for everyone and if you promote their book they will promote yours! Especially during those time you have to pee and be away from the table. That’s why Liz DeJesus and I rocked the event!

5. Talk! By that I mean don’t just sit there waiting for people to come to you. Stand up and say hi to people. Wave people over. Get a magic lasso (which supposedly I should get). Be loud but not obnoxious. Just have fun!
