This past year has all been rather surreal. The book was accepted for publication last February/march and through all the editing and typesetting processes it always seemed that it was happening to somebody else, some other book, some other writer. Now however the authors copies have arrived and I am seeing the thing in print. It is so strange. The downside I suppose is that I have suddenly had to embrace the world of social media, something I have absolutely no aptitude for. So bear with me while I wrestle with all its complexities, I am sure I will get there eventually. (Mind you it is likely that only my sister that will read this which is probably just as well)
