Big Books of 2026

My next project...

Despite extremely disappointing low sales numbers of Blood Loss (The Chronicle of Rael), my mind begins to swirl with ideas for my next project. I want to work on The Path of Gods (sci-fi), but I also have some ideas coalescing for Cor V (final book maybe?). Last, I'm wondering about a collection of Thyss stories.

What do you think?

Mark I wouldn't mind reading about Thyss, would this be prequel to the Cor Chronicles or within the timeline?

And I'm always game for more Cor! Can't wait for Book V.

Martin Parece It will be a collection of stories about Thyss before meeting Cor. I wrote the first story ("Chosen") about Thyss over the last two days. I don't have a pub date in mind, as I think she'll be a project I work on as things come to me.

Cor the Fifth is something of a conundrum for me. A lot of people did not like (SPOILER ALERT) the sci-fi elements of Gods and Steel. I have a few subplots beginning to bounce around in my head, and I'm not completely sure as to the focal point of that story. I'm more just in the bouncing rubber ball ideas off the proverbial brick wall at this point.
