February is such an odd month. It’s short on days and can be warm or cold, but it also means Spring with all its potential is only a month away.
What’s your favorite thing about February?
My birthday and Valentine’s, which fall within 2 days of each other. My husband and I go to Savannah, Georgia, which is one of my favorite places on Earth, every February. Even when the weather is cold, there’s the Irish festival, riverfront activities, and more. Makes for a great month and the birthday celebration goes on for longer than 1 day.
Whether you celebrate Valentine’s or not, you can’t ignore the candy. What’s your favorite kind?
I am a real sucker for TWIX. In fact, it’s like those Pringles ads. I can’t eat just one LOL. I like any candy except licorice and coconut flavored things, which pretty much includes all chocolate. But TWIX? Super yummy! I’ve learned to keep a limited number in the house so I don’t eat them all.
If you could add three more days to the month, what would you do with them?
Hmm...Well, presuming that by me adding 3 days to the month, I therefore have the superpower to do so, I would continue that theme by making those 3 days a “summer preview.” For those 3 extra days in February, temps will be in the 70s, the weather would be beautiful, and it would give a break to the winter slush so we look forward to actual summer.And if I don’t have superpowers? Then, of course, I would spend those 3 days writing!
March Madness. Do you know what it is?
I’ve heard the term but no, I don’t have the exact definition. My mind keeps conjuring up images of shopping at the mall.
What are you looking forward to this Spring?
Warmer weather!!! Seriously, even though I live in the South, this has been a frigid Winter. When warm weather comes, the senses come to life. Sitting out on the back patio having a cocktail, walking barefoot in the soft grass, and sitting outside under an umbrella at a café. Warmer weather is needed for all of those things! (Well, except maybe for the cocktail, but I don’t like drinking beer while standing in the snow LOL)
