So since I have successfully published my first novel, successfully meaning that I wrote the book edited it designed the cover and got it to several marketplaces no sales taken into account in this observation, but anyway I published this book and now all of a sudden everyone around me wants to be a writer. I get comments like, "Oh yeah plenty of people say I should tell my story," or "I've started writing a book too." I just don't think they truly understand the countless hours it takes to get a project complete from beginning to end WITHOUT the help of a book agent, or publisher. I've had to redo things, refile paperwork, resubmit file after file after file to my printer because it took me forever to figure out how to edit my cover on photoshop. But these nonwriters just don't get it. They read the finished product and while it it very good and reads very easily, they think its just as easily put together. Just venting a little steam

They really don't understand. Why can't they just be happy that ur writing & publishing? It's envy T. Then they go ahead & try to write a book & find out how hard the shit is, wondering how we did it.
It's called passion.
