Lather, Rinse, Repeat

The June submission has been sent in along with its paperwork. Now, not only do I have my bisexual romance erotica to write AND the lesbian coming-of-age romance I mentioned, but I've got a new gay romance that I thought of a while back that has finally come to a head. Started writing it down so I wouldn't lose what I had.

This is how things go. It's not a neat "I'll write this story, then I'll get the idea for this one and write it out, then there will be another" et cetera. Most often the ideas will overlap, and you'll run with one for a while until it's done before focusing on the next one, but sometimes you'll have three or four projects going at once that all get equal attention. Then, much like what I'm going through now, a new story will take the place of the one you just finished.

The other issue I'm having is exhaustion. I've just churned out two stories, totaling over 74,000 words, and now my brain wants me to stop. However, as I said, I have been struck by this new story and enough details have come together that I can't ignore it. It's a struggle between my imagination needing to flesh out its ideas and my brain resisting more work until it has had time to rest.

So it goes.
