This is a bit of insight into my brain. So be afraid, be very afraid.
So I have been working on book 2 for a while now. Got to the half way mark and was not loving what was written so deleted it down to 14K words and started again. Now I am back to the halfway mark. For some reason this book just isn't coming as quickly as the first one. I suppose I could blame it on the extra pressure I am putting on myself to get it done since the first one is out and now there are readers that want the second one. And personally I hate it when I'm reading a series and have to wait forever in between releases. That always means I'm going to have to re-read because I don't stop reading in between LOL!!! In order to get me over the hump I decided to jump ahead and the pieces that spoke to me (don't want any spoilers here but will say one of them is the end of book 2 - loving the end BTW). Then will come back and write the pieces to fill in the gaps. Hopefully this will get the juices flowing and let Ian and Celeste start speaking to me again. (I keep wondering if I have offended them or something LOL). Let's toast to getting Into the Flames out to my betas in early May so I can get it to the readers in July!!!!
