What I was like in 1981

My grammar school classmate posted our 1981 yearbook on facebook. Since all of my yearbooks along with most childhood mementoes were misplaced (i.e. thrown out) when my parents moved to Florida, I haven't seen this probably since 1981. Here are a few things I learned about my 1981 self:
- I apparently participated in something called the Math Fair. Not only do I not remember said Math Fair, I barely remember how to multiply
- I used to have neat, teenaged girl curly cue handwriting instead of my current scrawl
- I wanted to be a lawyer. Not an airline stewardess, not a soap star, but a boring old lawyer. Of all the childhood dreams I must have had, why did this one have to come true?
- Although I was a cheerleader, I was the dorky one stuck in the back of the picture.
- I was voted most cheerful. Now I may be a lot of things, but cheerful I am not. Not even back in 1981. I have a feeling, since I was new to the school, they voted me most cheerful because there wasn't a category for "girl we don't know that well but who seems nice enough"
- the Dorothy Hammil wedge is not a good look.
