Ran into C. Robert Cales and liked his stuff (found it interesting after all) and decided to finally jump on this thing before my internets shut off. What am I doing?! Well...


1) What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person?

Joni Warren, age 17 (fictional)

2) When and where is the story set?

A small town in Iowa, mid 90's


3) What should we know about him/her?

She's a sorceress with middling heaing ability and can see somewhat into the future. However, her magic skills overall aren't that great.

4) What is the main conflict? What messes up his/her life?

After her dad died under mysterious circumstances, some people want her in a bad way over powerful magic weapons she's inherited.

5) What is the personal goal of the character?

Though she knows obtaining a 'quiet somewhat normal life' is nearly impossible, her focus is on graduating high school, and keeping her head on when fighting crazies over spirit weapons.

6) Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it?

It's called Spellbound, part 1 of the Last Remnants trilogy. Nothing online anymore (it was available for beta reads on Booksie and did pretty well).

7) When can we expect the book to be
published?

If the gremlins stop wrecking my computers, hopefully by 15 September.
