Upcoming Documentary, August 1, 2014: Anatomy of a Kidnapping

Have you read my book Zip Ties and Lies about the Hannah Anderson/Jim DiMaggio homicide case?

This book covers the "facts" as we know them to be, the lies, and the apparent law enforcement cover ups of the murders of Tina Anderson and her 8-yr. old son Ethan. Ethan was burned beyond recognition after possibly being dismembered. Their dog was also murdered.

If you've read the book you can compare notes when the documentary airs August 1, 2014, "Anatomy of a Kidnapping" on NBC. Check local listings for the time in your area.

After 8 - 1/2 months of research on the case, I expect this "crapamentary", as it's been called by many, to be a farce.

I, along with several others, still dream of the day when the actual truth will come out and the true murderer or murderers will be behind bars where he or she belong.

Search-for-truth The documentary should prove to be most interesting. One has to wonder if new evidence will be revealed, as the public has so many unanswered questions about the timeline involved, and the story "as we know it".

As with many network offerings, the title may be more intriguing than the actual content. The case is still open, and it remains fresh in the minds of many. The brutal deaths of the three people who died last August demand justice.

Sue Julsen I couldn't have said it better, Search-for-truth. Thanks for the comment.

Search-for-truth My pleasure. The case has "eaten at me" from the onset.

Sue Julsen It has eaten at me also, along with so many more who follow this case. We all pray for "truth" to be told, someday.

ML I don't think this documentary will surprise anyone. I think it will be more of the same "Poor little Hannah". The truth of this case is told in Sue's book, "Zip Ties & Lies". This documentary is another sympathy vote for Hannah. I hope I am wrong but if we ever do hear the truth I don't believe it will come from Hannah. The victims are forgotten. I will watch this TV show but I think we will all still be let down as to anyone else trying to find the real truth or speaking for the victims in this case.

Sue Julsen Thanks ML - Zip Ties and Lies tells the facts, as we know them to be. I so wanted to get to the "real truth" when researching the book, but there's too many lies and too much cover up.
This show will be more of the same, and I expect disappointment. However, I am looking forward to watching just to see how the original "lies" have morphed into whatever she has come up with now.
