Finally Found It!

Have you ever watched a movie on TV that you really really liked and decided you'd buy it on DVD only to NEVER find it? In the year 2000, I watched a pretty cool mini-series on the Hallmark channel called The 10th Kingdom. All I owned at the time was a VHS player. Anyone still know what that is? lol. I recorded the movie on VHS but soon after VHS started phasing out and more and more people had DVD players. For years I searched and searched for The 10th Kingdom on DVD but never could find it. Hallmark stopped selling it, never found it on Ebay, and Amazon only carried copies that were listed for $100. Never figured that one out.

Well, a few days ago, while digging through the $5 bin at Walmart, I came across the familiar cover. I held it in my hand and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Oh Heck Yeah! I bought it and started texting everyone I knew who liked it that I'd found it! For only 5 bucks at that! The success that I felt at that moment was wild. I know that sounds funny but I had come to terms with never finding it on DVD for many years. The thought of continuing my search hadn't crossed my mind for a long time.

Then, after a friend was interested in finding her a copy, I happened to think of checking Amazon.com again. Low and behold, there it was for the same price. Now, though I was ecstatic that I'd found the movie, I was a bit perturbed that Amazon had it and wondered just how long they'd had it for sale without my knowledge.

If you've never watched this movie and are fans of fantasy and fairy tales, I would suggest you check it out. The graphics aren't the best and the acting could have been better but all in all it was a very satisfying movie. I hope you enjoy it :)
