#3 - THE B&N NOOK...

I'm in the market for an eReader... but there are so many around, and they each do different things. Some are phones - some, tablets that play movies - all as well as delivering ebooks.

My due diligence is to interview people I know and trust about what they use. We've done the iPod Touch (which would be the same as an iPhone if it was a phone - if you get what I mean) - and the famous Amazon Kindle.

This time - the arch rival - the B&N Nook. "Like" the page for all updates - the iPad is coming up!

Steven Hey Timothy, I've seen the Nook and heard good things about it and thought I wanted one myself but have heard even better things about the Kindles and it seems more books are coming out for the Kindle so the library that is available is bigger. They both have lifetime 3G coverage and can download books from libraries or at libraries and can view PDF files from what I've learned. Some do video stuff. It depends on how much you want to do with it. Also what is the most comfortable size book for you. What will make your hand/arm more tired from holding for long periods of time.

I did see the Sony readers and wasn't impressed at all. They aren't very well lit and don't offer much. They do come with a huge library already installed though but that's their only gimick.

Hope this helps a little.

Timothy Dean Thanks, Steven! I'm still in the process of interviewing various eReader owners. I appreciate your input. The latest one is from my friend Kay on the Carib coast of Mexico. She has an iPad.

Steven That IPad is pretty impressive too. It is kinda of teasing me cause it can have animated comic books downloaded into it. Some of the comic companies are really coming out with some fantastic ones.
Have you seen the movie The Crazies yet? If not it was a fun movie and different. It wasn't your typical zombie flick. Anyway, on the DVD they have on the extras one of those animated comics and they are very well done. If you get time maybe you can Netflix it or something.
