One of the reasons I want an eReader! I'm reading King's humongous novel, "Under the Dome" - 1,000+ pages! I'm up to page 450 - the entire length of my "epic" novel, TEETH ... and it's like the Regent of Horror is just getting started! I love looong books and great sagas. Many of today's readers seem to want it all RIGHT NOW - action action action, beginning to end - and by the way, keep the whole thing to 250 pages! Not me. What's the rush??? I'm old school that way. I love writers who'll create an entire world and then bring me in and show me all around. I want to live there for a time! "Under the Dome" is one of those sagas. I'm in New England with King's characters until the final page.
