A Snog for Sommer
Today I find myself in the company of over 50 60 others (I am no. 26) who are participating in the A Snog for Sommer event. Readers should find themselves in great company with contributions from a variety of notable authors.
So treat yourself by hopping around to as many participating blogs as you can, if not all of them. And please, do not forgot the reason for this event, which is to help out author Sommer Marsden (whose family is going through a difficult time). If you are able to donate any amount, it would be deeply appreciated.
This is a kissing excerpt from Spartan:
“Thank you, but I’m not some hapless woman.”
Surprise laced his voice. “I didn’t think you were.”
The car was cool against my back in contrast to Alexander’s heated body pressed against me. My mouth fell open, indignation at the edges as I looked up into his face, but nothing came out. I could have pushed him away, but I didn’t. I was riveted, his hard physique no longer a figment of my imagination. Instinctively I arched, the tide of desire racing across my skin. My breasts flattened between us as my nipples tightened painfully.
In an envelope of leather and flesh, I met his lips. I crushed the fabric of his jacket in my hands, as his palms cradled my face. Neither of us stood on ceremony. Our wine licked tongues slipped together, kissing as though we were starved for the taste. His thigh slid between my legs, pushing the seam of my jeans against me. Wet, I rocked my hips, swallowing his low groan. The vibration echoed down to my clit, and a strangled gasp escaped me. Alexander kissed with bruising restraint, on the edge of that something that was harder, and darker. That something that I recognized in him. And I wanted it.
Abruptly I broke the kiss, my face pulling away from his hands, fists still balled in his jacket, both of us panting heavily. I let go, my open palms in front of me, looking down between us. He stepped back carefully with a deep breath and shoved his hands in his pockets.
If you enjoyed the kiss, please let me know. As a small token of my thanks for your participation, I have a couple of e-copies of Spartan to give away and will make the selection from the comments.
Happy Snogging,
Sacha
