I'm excited! It is almost Halloween! This Halloween I will be doing something different. I will be reading at the Riverhead Edgar Allan Poe Festival.
I will be reading Poe's short story "Never Bet the Devil Your Head". It is a story with a moral.

I was invited to read my children's book
"Are there Monsters in My Closet?" during the weekend long event and will be reading it five times this weekend! It is something for the Critters and they are calling it "Ghost and Giggles" It should be a lot of fun!

It definitely seems like an interesting event and I am curious to see how the turn out will be.

After the Halloween weekend I am looking forward to the 50,000 words in a month, novel writing challenge! It is National Novel Writers Month in November. I have my title all picked out and ready to Rock! Thats after the Poe-trifiying weekend!
