So I've never really been part of a writing group. I've always actually had a bit of an issue with social situations in general (a bit of awkwardness, a lot of anxiety) and the prospect of going to sit in a room full of strangers who look down their noses at you and ask, "So what have YOU written?" has always intimidated me.
