My husband and I wrapped the third and final book in the Carved Hearts series, Heartwood.
Good Wood,
Mollywood, and Heartwood will always hold a special place in my heart, as they are the product of collaborating with my very favorite person. These books are like my children, and I'm a fiercely protective mother. Releasing them into the wild has been exhilarating as well as nerve wracking.
I like to think it's our chemistry (
L.G. Pace III and mine) that resonates with the readers. This probably accounts for why Carved Hearts 1 & 2 have been so well received by those special individuals who chose to take a chance on a spunky food truck chick and her reluctant hero, Joe the carpenter.
We both plan to take a little down time now that it's all over. Molly and Joe are going to be very hard for us to leave behind, and I for one will need a serious palate cleanser before I consider writing another love story. Maybe it's time to explore another genre. Who knows?
