Sandy AMEN! So well said. I love some books that my sister would never read and etc.. Just because she has her own taste and opinion is no reason for me to attack her or her tastes.
Being rude just because you can is never the right thing.
Regardless of my opinion I would never insult the writer or the readers, if I can't think of a better way to express my opinion I should just be quiet.

Excellent point -- my mom and I like a lot of the same books, but she has a love affair with the cozy mystery and I don't ... that certainly doesn't mean my mom doesn't have any taste or likes formulaic mysteries. My mom is one of the smartest women I know.
