Be You, Everyone Else is Taken

For years I was afraid to do what I wanted to do, to step out and become who I was meant to be. As a child I was domineering and always wanted to be first. I would orchestrate routines, organize group projects and direct my sisters and friends in some of my made up plays we eventually turned into small skits, kids nowadays would call “Vines” but we didn’t have YouTube. These were qualities of a leader; I later learned yet was expressed to me, at an early age, as me being bossy,
