Even though summer is finally here and I can work by my own schedule, there is so much to do. I'm thinking about how I can improve Gilded Gift and what to write next--I want to push for a full-length, scifi novel, but it's going to take a lot more time than I thought a few months ago.

I want to do something reminiscent of Astroboy and I, Robot. I've always been fascinated with the idea of man-made sentience, and the possibilities for a coming-of-age novel are great. Maybe something set in France...

On a brighter note, I'm learning the trumpet from my brother, also more work than I thought, but also possible. As long as you don't give up, anything is in reach. Or at least, that's what you're supposed to tell yourself. :P
