I put all my de-escalation books in ePub mode. Because of my unhappiness with Amazon's royalty 'schedule,' I only went thru Kobo, iBooks, and my ePub formatter, eBooks2go. Not many books have sold. Well, one book, Guarding the Gates is on Amazon, but books for security guards do not sell well (if the security company buys them for employees, yes, but I've seen few purchases by individuals). At any rate, trying an experiment-- putting From Chaos to Compliance and my new book, Cooling the Flames, on Amazon. 35% of cover price is certainly better than 0% of cover price, and Amazon, like it and not (my ambivalence clear there?), is certainly the monolith. (Will be putting out an announcement of the release of Cooling the Flames in about two weeks when I have the book in hand.
