Whew! Where did the time go? It felt like yesterday I was releasing Retaliation and summer vacation started for my child. Now, I am preparing to send my son off to 3rd grade tomorrow. I took the summer off from writing for a couple reasons. One, I wanted more time with my family. Second, I wanted to catch up on some reading, and third, my regular job kept me busy traveling over the summer. Now as the new school year starts, vacations come to a close, and travel for work is slowing down, it's time to get back to writing. I am finishing up reading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. It is a hard book to put down. When I get a moment, I will do a list of books I read this summer that I highly recommend.

I am either crazy or a glutton for punishment. I will be working on three books at one time. First, I have to continue Clara's story from Retaliation. I will be working on the second installment titled Restoration. The feedback I have received from readers is that they have to know what is going on!!! The second book I will begin working on is something new. As a writer, sometimes a character comes along that demands a voice. I will be releasing more information on this mystery project soon, so stay tuned. The third book will be the second installment of The Mirror of Destiny. This was the book my son and I worked on together. He and I are ready to continue the story of Hunter and his crazy sidekicks as he returns to Niberia to help Princess Tatum find her father, the king.
