Not really. Just the book. In paperback. Out today.

 

 

To celebrate I spent the day writing. I was supposed to have finished the current draft by September 1. I still have 36 minutes but it is not looking likely.

 

Also I got a pedicure. My toenails look like Christmas ornaments, all red and glossy. I was shooting for a summery look, in celebration that IT IS STILL SUMMER but I may have missed the mark. Although it was 90 degrees out so I wore flip-flops and didn’t smudge on my way home.

 

Maybe I will try to post something every day in September. We shall see. So far I am one for one.

 

Other books out today from lots of writers I like a lot, including Julie Halpern, Jack Gantos, Carolyn Mackler, and Wendy Mass. Go stock up, readers. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, as well as of September. Celebrate!
