It is also designed to give an author who reads the blog interview posted, insights on how they can grow and share in this huge literary field. AUTHOR BIO of Dawn Kinder:
Certified Nursing Assistant at age 18 in 1990. By age 23, she became a Registered Nurse, focusing on Alzheimer’s and Hospice care. She enjoyed a 20-year career in clinical nursing until 2010 when she had to retire after diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She sincerely believes writing/speaking about Alzheimer’s is God’s way of letting her nursing career flourish, despite physical limitations. Since she grew up with two grandparents who died from Alzheimer’s, the majority of her life has been fascinated with studying it. “The Beautiful Secrets of Alzheimer’s: A Fresh Approach” was derived from over 27 years of her personal/professional experience and she has never been so excited to help those still suffering in silence. She resides in Centennial, CO.

What genre do you write?
I currently write nonfiction.
What inspired you to write?
I dreamed of writing as a child, yet, life took over. I enjoyed a 20-year clinical career as a Registered Nurse, mostly consumed with a passion for Alzheimer’s. I had family members of those I cared for repeatedly tell me I should write a book, as they always felt better after talking to me. I finally put the pen to paper and published my first book after I became physically disabled with Multiple Sclerosis.
What have you written?
I wrote, “The Beautiful Secrets of Alzheimer’s: A Fresh Approach” and am currently working on its sequel, “The Beautiful Secrets of Alzheimer’s: The Forgotten Treasures.”
How many books do you have published?
I currently have published, “The Beautiful Secrets of Alzheimer’s: A Fresh Approach” since January 2015.

What are you promoting at the moment?
I am promoting, “The Beautiful Secrets of Alzheimer’s: A Fresh Approach.”
Do you enjoy meeting people and promoting your work?
Yes, I very much enjoy meeting people and promoting my work and greatest life passion. I enjoy spreading good news about Alzheimer’s.
Would you travel and do speaking engagements to promote your book(s)?
Yes, I hope and pray to travel promoting the good news about Alzheimer’s.
List some places you would like to visit and meet fans?
I have done lots of traveling in my life, so I’m excited to travel just about anywhere to spread some good news. I believe it is God’s greatest calling for my life.
Tell us your successful methods of promoting?
So far, social media has been my most effective method of promotion. Now, I’m excited to get out there in person.
Are you planning to write more books?
Yes, I am currently working on a sequel to my first book in order to address important issues I missed and go deeper on others already addressed.

If your book gets chosen for a movie, who would you like to play the main characters?
If my book was chosen for a movie, I would personally like to play one of the main characters, along with former fellow nurses who helped me learn so much about Alzheimer’s. I believe using the former authentic nurses and families would create the most passionate story.
