I enjoyed the book signing. The new library director and the children's director were wonderfully hospitable, chatting with me and encouraging me while the other one got a drink of water for Patches.
Thank the Lord for sweet people like that.
Patches performed his tricks twice for 2 different sets of kiddos. He was really "putting on the dog" when he jumped through his hoop. He jumped higher and with more bounce than he does at home. I think he knew he had an audience! Ha, ha!
