I'll be attending a Craft Fair at Redeemer Lutheran Church,1658 Roane St. Hwy, Harriman TN 37748. It starts at 10am and goes until mid-afternoon. The rain date is Sept.19.
I'll be selling my books and signing them.
I'll also be selling some craft items (denim bags, baby socks, shopping bags).
Come see the new book: The Stinkaroo Dog and the Forbidden Portal, written and illustrated by Lea Beall.
I'll be handing out coloring pages.

Hi Everyone!
I have another book signing event scheduled. This time we'll be in Alcoa which is next to Maryville. I'll be at the Book Rack at 325 Gill St., Alcoa, TN 37701 from 1-3pm on January 9, 2015.

As is customary for me, I'll have free activity pages to hand out. There is a Stinkaroo Dog Crossword Puzzle, Synonym Matching page, How to Draw a Dog Like Patches page, and coloring pages, also a funny multiple choice quiz and a plot diagram page.

There are other pages, like the Synonym Page, and the Scrambled Characters page and a Memory Game and a funny book quiz and a plot diagram.

The Stinkaroo Dog and the Forbidden Portal is a great book for reluctant readers. The large words are divided into syllables, words like, o-dor-if-er-ous, and mis-un-der-stand-ing, or pre-dic-a-ment, that might be harder to sound out.
Teachers can use the book to teach a simple lesson on plot structure for all ages. A Plot Diagram Page with literary definitions is included on the Stinkaroo Dog Webpage (thestinkaroodog.tateauthor.com).
Parents and teachers and homeschool parents will also find a Synonym Page, and other activity pages at the website. The Crossword Puzzle has a word bank for younger students.
A simple lesson on drawing a dog using a quarter is posted under the Art Pages.
