I'm very happy to announce that I've teamed up with 3 other female authors from Deeds Publishing for a series of Author Events. We observed that whenever we had book signings, our 4 husbands consistently declined to join us. Not a problem, really; it was partly because they'd heard it all before. But it made us realize the obvious: men and women generally have different reading preferences. So we're calling ourselves The Book Widows and have scheduled events to discuss the differences between men and women regarding reading, as well as to sign our books.

Besides me, the other participating authors are: Rona Simmons, author of Postcards from Wonderland and The Quiet Room; Valerie Joan Connors, author of Shadow of a Smile; In Her Keeping; and A Promise Made; Susan Jimison, author of Dear Mark and Through the Eyes of a Tiger.
