Feeling not great, i need book recs. > Likes and Comments

Im Feeling extra bad today, Id like a YA book rec, i dont mind what genre as long as its not dark romance. And no smut or explicit scenes. If its fantasy then i prefer something with not much worldbuilding since I dont have the energy to go through those though first 100 pages. Nothing with sickness and illnesses either please. Just something easy. I have read most of the popular books already (agggtm, inheritance games, cruel prince, the selection, legends and lattes, the house in the cerulean sea, better than the movies, betting on you, fake skating, caraval, OUABH etc etc.so please help a girly out 😔

I just finished Project Hail Mary and loved it... but there is a lot of science talk.

lol and i be you have not tried this book; If you’re someone who connects deeply with characters navigating emotional crossroads, The Exiled Kin might speak to you. It’s not loud or dramatic but it’s heartfelt, expressive, and beautifully layered.

Honestly, I picked up Jordan’s book with low expectations… now I recommend it to everyone. It surprised me in the best way; if you want something heartfelt and real, The Exiled Kin is my go-to pick.

Maybe Hero - Journey To The East?

I like Jennifer L Armentrout's YA series, specifically Lux / Origins and Dark Elements/ Harbinger. Neither are heavy as far as world building goes, but the romantic tension and banter is a lot of fun!

If you're interested in Young Adult horror (minor gore, swearing), I would maybe propose my own novel - Juniper: The Mystery of Northveil Middle School.

It's 214 pages of mystery, thrill, and drama. Focused on three students starting seventh grade who have to navigate a school filled with humans mutating into unknown beasts capable of mimicking humans, and their goal to find a cure, and survive the day.

What The Woods Took by Courtney Gould was really good (queer YA paranormal horror)
