Uh oh, I picked this one up (it was the only one I could find) and thought it was the first. Thank you for the answer and once I finish it I will pick up the others and start from the begining.
The books are written so that the order in which you read them doesn't really matter in understanding the story and the mystery. Only long-term character arcs for the major characters are carried from one book to the other, so you don't miss much by reading them out of order.
