         i completely agree. the storyline should be continued in a series and for that some questions need to be left unanswered. i understand that. i just wish sometimes we (readers) wont be left in a state of confusion or without hope for a better future for our characters, whom we so obviously adore and love. just give us a cookie of hope for our the characters future and end on a positive note. its that easy to prevent a cliffhanger!
