Founded in 1667 by John Arkham, Roger Phelps, and William Derleth just north of Boston on the shore of the Miskatonic River, from which the local University got its name, Arkham has always been the center of strange and unusual happenings. The name itself comes from the local native dialect denoting the negative spiritual activity which haunts the Western Hills. Cults litter the town's pasts, along with the mysterious disappearance of the Indigenous American tribe - the Miskatonics - whose origin is unknown, unrelated to nearby Algonquian peoples, give the town an eerie and uncanny air to it. Stranger still, once one enters Arkahm city limits, one almost never seems to be able to leave. There is always something keeping them here. In truth, demons, children of the Great Old Ones from beyond the stars, have always made this town their home. They have lied in wait for the return of their overlords, and they will not have to wait much longer, for soon, the stars will be right. The Gods shall awaken. Yog-Sothoth have mercy on us all!

I adore your creativity but want you to remember that there are people behind the names you see. Buffy, Angel, Temeraire, Harry Potter, Twilight. Any story or movie with some sort of Fantasy theme we will try and interject our own characters into the storyline. You'll be surprised how the story will alter with one small decision change. There will also be areas for your own created universes to come to life.
