[close] we know they're here - and many witness reports don't sound too good. yet we have people proclaiming the universal goodness of all aliens - despite the fact they can often be seen in the context of having their own military. some might say we deserve bad aliens and that the bad stuff happens to us because we are bad inside in some way ..apologists try to write bad aliens off as fabrications of the 1950's military black ops - yet the historic record shows bad aliens and underground bases going back to the days of scuti ardenti or flying shields. there are plenty books written from all points of view on the alien presence - but some people despite the facts can never allow us to think of them as being in any way bad .. that we are demonising them - yet some behave like demons. not all though, some. aliens looks at the big picture and may take us out of our comfort zone

[close] This roleplay is based in the death and destruction of an alien attack that has left most of the world dead or enslaved. In the weeks and months since the initial invasion, the few remaining survivors have unified to fight against this alien force or die trying. The only way the aliens can be repelled is the human strength and humanity despite the destruction of the world. It is the story of the human spirit that survives as long as there is a human to host it, and focuses on how everyday people must become heroes to save the people and world they love dearly The invaders extremely intelectual and use military-like tactics, which makes them an overwhelming force against the humanity’s last stronghold. The spider-like Skitters are simultaneously vicious killers and a nurturing family for the captured children. The deadly, robotic Mechs are controlled by the Skitters and pose the biggest risk on the ground, as their advanced weaponry and armor can take out many fighters without taking a dent. The aliens control captured children through bio-mechanical harnesses but have yet to reveal their ultimate plan for them.
