If you love world literature, translated works, travel writing, or exploring the world through books, you have come to the right place! ATW80 began in 2009 as a challenge on TNBBC. The separate group was established in 2011. Anyone can join and participate in the challenges or readings at any time. Challenge participation is not a requirement of joining. Anyone who loves reading books from around the world is welcome here. The main purpose of this group is to travel the world through books, experiencing new authors and cultures along the way. This venture has introduced me to far off lands, fresh viewpoints, and many new authors I might not have discovered otherwise. [close] I could not find a GR group where we can discuss pro-Israel books,so I thought lets create one!!This group is exclusively Zionist and pro-Israel ONLY!!The other point of view(Hate-Israel club has a lot of options,their boycotts and hatred,that point of view is not welcomed here..Any book related to Israel is welcomed..No Islam/Judaism bashing will be allowed as that sidelines our being Pro-Israel and frankly no one from our side wants to get stoned(literally)!!Please join it and participate actively! But more importantly, NewGround was founded to create a national model for healthy relations, productive engagement and social change between American Muslims and Jews. To transform the landscape, the Muslim Public Affairs Council and Progressive Jewish Alliance joined forces to create a fellowship for emerging Muslim and Jewish leaders to change the tone of the conversation.
