[close] This book club is an opportunity for our cohort to maintain our connection beyond the final date of our formal Intro to Judaism course. Through shared reading, we may continue to wrestle in our study and share our joys as we continue our personal journeys.

[close] There is more that ties us together than separates us. So let's focus on our similarities. Even science and spirituality connect on many levels. The world's Faiths also connect deep beneath the surface. For instance, new discoveries show there are far too many exact comparisons between ancient Judaism in the West and ancient Hinduism in the East to be a coincidence. Implications and repercussions are huge. It's time to stop hating and start loving each other. Namaste

[close] Every day at UF Hillel, we seek to inspire future leaders to amplify their Jewish voice through Tradition (spirituality, celebrating holidays, learning), Inspiration (Israel, doing good, building relationships), and Activation (finding jobs, building companies, actualizing dreams). With this at our core, UF Hillel has created a Goodreads Account to inspire students and community members to grow personally, to find greater meaning in life and to learn individually and together. Every month, we will promote a new book to read, which will include three questions for individual thought or to answer within the UF Hillel Goodreads Account for community dialogue. Our hope is that this virtual platform will encourage readers to explore their identity and their relationship with others (people, places, political beliefs, etc.), challenge our assumptions and engage in difficult conversations about race, religion, economic status, and how they intersect with our self and others, so that together, we can each positively impact our world.
