[close] Melanated Magic will feature an abundance of authors with melanated magic. Books will be a broad mixture of fiction and non fiction, YA, children's books, personal development and everything in between...… Please see the 'to read' bookshelf for the books that will be featured. The plan is to read (or listen to) a book every two months then share thoughts, feelings and topics and explore a few different methods of connection and engagement e.g. google hangouts, surveys nothing to onerous or homework like. There will also be at lease three annual meet ups scheduled in the Greater Manchester area and some trips to literary events further afield, but members can be based anywhere. Feel free to suggest any books. The meetups will be aimed at supporting independent businesses.

[close] In this project secondary students will investigate the UN Sustainable Development Goals and TRC Calls to Action, considering possible intersections (e.g. reconciliation, MMIWG, intergenerational trauma, water walks, cultural appropriation). Through discussion and sharing with Indigenous and non-indigenous peers from schools across Ontario, students will investigate issues and determine possible actions they could take to support meeting these goals.

[close] While most people define multiculturalism as just multiracial, I invite anyone who is interested in multiculturalism in many forms. Books or topic discussions involving different races, religions, worlds, sexual orientations, ages,genders or gender identities,disability, color and anything else that may come to mind in modern society. While I placed scifi and fantasy as the group sub topic,it is free to all fiction that may incorporate multiculturalism!
