[close] This group is for Pan African ideologists who are passionate about nation building and practicing group economics. Here, both authors and readers from the PA community read, discuss, review and recommend books that are instrumental in building a nation of strong, economically, socially and politically powerful group of people.

[close] A people without knowledge of its past is like a tree without roots. Books can lock down the mind as well as enlighten consciousness. Black (Afrikan) people around the world internalize Eurocentric notions of goodness, morality, and aesthetics rather than recognizing our own virtues. This is due to the pervasive mis-education process that is all around us. It’s a great feeling to reclaim our own worldview and revitalize the Afrikan spirit. For many of us, it is the writings of C. A. Diop, I. Van Sertima, F. C. Welsing, J. H. Clarke, M. Asante, G. G. M. James and many others that allow us to awaken from a false consciousness and embrace our Africanity.
