However, our emphasis is on books not ranked in traditional publishing circles, the closest being the so-called 'misery lit' category which is biographical in nature, and usually about the protagonist's triumph over trauma or abuse. As a publisher, you could say, we fill the need for books about trauma and abuse with deeper meanings to them, that leave the reader feeling inspired. This book club was created to bring these author's and readers together.
