However, our emphasis is on books not ranked in traditional publishing circles, the closest being the so-called 'misery lit' category which is biographical in nature, and usually about the protagonist's triumph over trauma or abuse. As a publisher, you could say, we fill the need for books about trauma and abuse with deeper meanings to them, that leave the reader feeling inspired.
