I have no respect for abused/abuser and oppressed/oppressor romance. I am sorry but that cannot be justified to me at least.
And there is a difference between a romance where there is a happy ever after, where it's all good bc "they love each other" and a toxic romantic relationship where the author doesn't redeem the characters just bc they were in love. An good example is Wuthering heights — Nov 20, 2025 01:03AM
