140069 And honestly, sometimes I just take a break from reading and do something else I love to do. Usually I miss reading and come back to it re-energized.

140069 A bit off of topic, but thanks to whoever put the Poldark books in the pool - I couldn't stop and have now read the entire delightful series.

I suppose I'd better check out some of the other books now to read.

Yes, if you try to take the characters seriously it goes against all I believe about commitments.

Book #5
Frenchman's Creek by Daphne du Maurier
4 stars
Go into this one as an escapism adventure, the characters are very shallow as far as real world, but DuMaurier writes well as usual, just don't expect to sympathize with the characters. Otherwise a fun romance/adventure story.

Book #3 The Woods In Winter by Stella Gibbons

Read on my Kindle in a late night sitting. A curious story that is a wonderful description of an odd set of characters. 4-stars.

140069 #17 - Katy Lou
Book # 2 - Demelza by Winston Graham- 4 Stars

Great read, I really love Demelza and her good impulses. Of course I am now hooked on this series and plan to read the rest leisurely during the rest of the year. I doubt it will take me until December to finish these.

Yes, that is the one. Thank you. I think you caught me while I was still editing the post. Notice my 5th choice is different than when you first read it. So sorry, thought I was fast enough to catch the error, but you are faster.
