The book I am reading at the moment is partially set in Melbourne - Little Paradise by Gabrielle Wang. I expect it is going to move to China as well at some point.

I loved the Name of the Wind too, and the rating here on GR is really, really high, so I would go ahead.
So excited for this weekend! Gym in the morning (not the exciting bit) and then going to see Keith Urban in concert tomorrow night, and then to see an international ice hockey match on Sunday night.

Something in conjunction with a festival is what I had in mind when I originally thought about this. The hard thing is finding a venue where people can talk etcThe only downside is the fact that it is ticketed which means that if event sells out quickly we would be excluding a lot of people.
I am intending to organise one in Melbourne, thinking early May, but I am just trying to think of a good place to have it at this stage.

Now I am reading Outside In by Maria V Snyder.

Started The Marsh King's Daughter by Elizabeth Chadwick! I like her books a lot, so I expect to enjoy this one too.
There are definitely times when it is an inconvenience when the phone rings or someone wants something!
