721 The book I am reading at the moment is partially set in Melbourne - Little Paradise by Gabrielle Wang. I expect it is going to move to China as well at some point.
721 I am now reading Little Paradiseby Gabrielle Wang (Aussie author)
721 Just finished reading Last Letter from Your Lover by Jojo Moyes, which I absolutely loved. Will definitely be reading more from her. Now reading Named of the Dragon by one of my favourite authors, Susanna Kearsley.

721 You should! Name of the Wind is awesome!
721 I loved the Name of the Wind too, and the rating here on GR is really, really high, so I would go ahead.

721 So excited for this weekend!

Gym in the morning (not the exciting bit) and then going to see Keith Urban in concert tomorrow night, and then to see an international ice hockey match on Sunday night.
721 Just finished reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness and loved it! So good, and I can't wait to read more.

Now I am reading The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss.
721 Just finished Ransom by David Malouf for book club, and reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness and The Vampire Dimitri by Colleen Gleason

721 Something in conjunction with a festival is what I had in mind when I originally thought about this. The hard thing is finding a venue where people can talk etc

The only downside is the fact that it is ticketed which means that if event sells out quickly we would be excluding a lot of people.

721 I am intending to organise one in Melbourne, thinking early May, but I am just trying to think of a good place to have it at this stage.

I definitely don't subscribe to that theory. But there are ways to say why you don't like a book without being spiteful or nsaty. I have..."

I don't either. I have written enough negative reviews in my time, although for the most part I am lucky in that I choose books I like.

I just wanted to clarify where Jacqueline was coming from

721 This is one for the Aussies (relates to the recent weather), but I am just putting in the link as there does need to be a language warning! Lots of swearing!)

Silver Wattle was an amazing read! I still have to read Tuscan Rose. I bought it the first day I saw it but haven't even started it yet.

Now I am reading Outside In by Maria V Snyder.
