The Book Watch

[close] So, for those of you who aren't big scifi/fantasy fans, we'll have the "Alternate Pick" book of the month. This will be for those of us who are more atoned to mainstream literature, contemporary or otherwise. Feel free to read just our alternate picks or both the scifi/fantasy pick and the alternate pick. Be sure to post a discussion about your favorite parts of the book, what you thought about the book as a whole and so on and so on. Happy reading!

[close] Ok guys, this is actually the first part of 5 different stories that T.H. White wrote about King Arthur. You can pick up the first 4 stories for only $8.99 in paperback either online or at a local bookstore. I'd like everyone to at least read this first part of the story. the book with the first 4 stories in it including this one is called "The Once and Future King", again by T.H. White. You can also pick up the fifth story which is called "The Book of Merlyn", I found that at a used book store for only $4 dollars, I'm sure you can do the same online. Again, I encourage everyone to read all 5 parts of King Arthur's story which is re-told by White. However, only the first "book" will be required. Also, if you don't think you'll enjoy this book, you can choose to read our alternate pick book which is David Mitchell's "Cloud Atlas".
