لطالما كانت القراءة مصدر إلهامٍ دائم للفنانين والكتَّاب على حد سواء، لذلك بدأ نادي كتاب مجلة وَرد لإعادة استكشاف كتب من جميع أنحاء العالم، وخاصة الصادر في السعودية من كتاب ناشئين. كما نود أن نبني بيئة محفزة تشجع على التفكير النقدي والنقد البنَّاء، والتي تنبذ أيضًا التلقين.
