Newbery Marathon

[close] 1. We will only Newberry Award WINNERS in this challenge (readers are welcome to read honor books, but they are not counted toward the marathon) - 95 total by 2017.

2. So that we may read other books, we shall give ourselves five years to complete this marathon. That equals 19 Newberry books per year!

3. Marathoners should create a bookshelf entitled "Newberry" so that other group members can follow along with each group member's progress.

4. Books can be read in any order, and commenting on each other's reviews once books are read is strongly encouraged.

5. Re-reading is not required (though HIGHLY recommended), so the marathoners who attended good schools, had book-friendly childhoods, and/or weren't allowed TV as kids can just go ahead and claim that advantage. If a group member has already re-read it in adulthood...no pressure!
