This place is for people at an individual human level. It’s okay if you want to debate something about books and the like, but I’d rather people discuss and exchange ideas than get into a contest where both sides only wind up more entrenched. Dialogue-ing is great; feces-slinging contests are, uh, stinky lol.

Don’t attack people as individuals or as members of a grouping. Don’t post about politics or religion.

Swearing might happen here, so if you’re <18, please go to <18 Groups unless your parents are OK with your being here.

If you’re a writer and you want to post about your books, use the Book Promotion folder to add a longer description of them--but don’t keep making posts of the same content. You can mention your books in other threads as part of the convo there--again, don’t go overboard.
