Recommended Fantasy Series (41 books)

Readers are often asking me to recommend new fantasy series to them. This is not a comprehensive list by any means, just some of my favorite fantasy series encountered over the years (in no particular order).

I've knowingly left out a lot of series (Sword of Truth comes to mind) because the books went places I just didn't want to follow, and/or I didn't love the series overall. I only want to recommend series here that I really enjoyed from beginning to end.
