These lists count a book even if they were in the state only in passing.
So that counts for a lot of states for books that feature a road-trip.

Wearing Death doesn't say anything about Utah in it other than one of the authors (it's a pen name for two authors) being from there. The city of Portland is mentioned several times but it's not clear which Portland or even if it's the same state, just worded "up in Portland" a couple of times. (That's where one of them used to work.) I wish it were specific because I could use it for Oregon or Maine. :(
